North West London is increasing the number of patients who can be prescribed tirzepatide (Mounjaro) on the NHS but, contrary to some reports, the drug can only be issued by specialist weight management clinics and to people who satisfy strict clinical criteria (see box below).
Any patients who feel that they meet the clinical criteria and are keen to try this medication should send in a Patchs consultation to discuss the matter.
We will be proactively contacting patients that already do meet the criteria.
You will receive a message to update you once your message is received and processed.
