Patient Participation Group.

The next Patient Participation Group meeting is to be announced. These meetings are open to all registered patients so please come along if you are free. Your ideas and views are important to us and can help us shape services to our patient's needs.

 Appointments not attended

In the month of February a total of  82 patients did not attend their booked appointments ( 8 with the doctors and 76 with the practice nurse) nor were the appointments cancelled so they could not be offered to patients in need of them. If you no longer need or are unable to attend the appointment you have booked, please call the surgery on 020 7266 1449 to cancel it.

Care Quality Commission (CQC)

Our practice is registered with the Care Quality Commision (CQC).

The CQC is an independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. their job is to ensure that all care provided amongst others, hospitals, dentist, care homes and GP primary care practices all meet national standards of quality. Once registered GP practices will recieve inspections and will be continually monitored to ensure that they are meeting national standards.

During an inspection:

  • Patients will be asked about their experiences of receiving care.
  • Inspectors will talk to practice staff including clinicians.
  • Check that the right systems and processes are in place.
  • Look for evidence that care isn't meeting national standards.

Woodfield Road Surgery was inspected by the Care Quality Commission on 19th May 2015. We are pleased to have received an overall rating of Good and attach a link for you to view the full report.
