Repeat Prescriptions
Due to a nationwide Prescribing Wisely campaign which has been set up to help the NHS reduce medicine wastage costs the practice will no longer be accepting repeat medication requests from pharmacies. Please help the NHS to reduce it's medicine costs by only ordering what you require. To see more on this campaign please click on the link.

Repeat medications can be ordered 2 weeks prior to you finishing them. Patients can request their repeat medication in the following ways:
Online - This is the easiest, fastest and most efficient way of ordering your repeat medications. Prescriptions can be electronically sent to your local pharmacy for collection if advised. If you would like to register for online services please see a member of the reception team.
In Person - tick required medications on your repeat medication slip (right hand side of prescription) and post in the repeat prescription box in reception. If you would like your prescription electronically sent to a local pharmacy please write this on your request or if you would prefer to have it posted to you please include a stamped addressed envelope.
By Post - tick required medications on your repeat medication slip (right hand side of prescription) and send in the post. If you would like your prescription electronically sent to a local pharmacy please write this on your request or if you would prefer to have it posted to you please include a stamped addressed envelope.
To avoid confusion and mistakes please make sure all requests are clearly written including the full name of the required medicine (as shown on the box) and the dosage. Certain prescriptions can be re-issued without you booking a consultation.
Regular medication reviews are necessary so when requested please make an appointment with a GP for this to be done.
Collection of the repeat prescription can be arranged after two full working days.
We regret that we are unable to accept telephone requests for prescriptions.
